St Patrick's Primary School, Stawell, is a small Catholic primary school servicing the needs of families of Stawell and the Grampian's region. The school was originally established in 1851 by Fr Barrett, in a calico tent during the Gold Rush era.
We are an educational community educating for service in faith, hope and love, celebrating our Catholic beliefs, values, practices and traditions. We have dedicated staff who provide students with a comprehensive curriculum allowing them to reach their full potential and which nurtures the development of the whole person.
Students take part in a variety of local and community activities that range from sporting events to addressing issues of social justice. The school is soon to introduce the KidsMatter program. Our junior students are given the opportunity to explore their own world in a very creative manner and develop good literacy and numeracy skills. All students are regularly monitored during their time at St Patrick's so that our carefully planned program can cater for the needs of each student. All our senior students have an opportunity to be a school leader so that they can develop leadership qualities
