DOBCEL Joins the Communities of Respect and Equality (CoRE) Alliance
DOBCEL is proud to announce our membership with the Communities of Respect and Equality (CoRE) Alliance, standing alongside organisations across our region committed to building safer, more inclusive, and welcoming communities for all.
The CoRE Alliance brings together education providers, community organisations, and leaders who share a strong commitment to preventing violence, promoting gender equality, and fostering cultures grounded in dignity and respect. By joining the Alliance, DOBCEL is strengthening its ongoing work to ensure that every individual within our school communities feels valued, safe, and supported.
At DOBCEL, our schools play a vital role in shaping not only academic outcomes, but also the social and emotional foundations that young people carry into adulthood. Creating environments where respect, inclusion, and belonging are lived values is central to our Catholic mission and identity. Membership with the CoRE Alliance reinforces our commitment to this work and provides opportunities to collaborate, learn, and grow alongside like-minded organisations.
Through this partnership, DOBCEL will continue to support initiatives that challenge harmful attitudes, prevent violence in all its forms, and promote positive, respectful relationships across our school communities. The Alliance also provides a valuable platform for sharing best practice and strengthening regional collaboration to create meaningful and lasting change.
We look forward to working closely with Women’s Health Grampians and fellow CoRE Alliance partners as we continue this important work together for the benefit of our schools and the wider community.
