Last Thursday evening, at the final leadership gathering in Horsham for 2024, we were pleased to have the opportunity to farewell Principals who are concluding their tenure and/or retiring from our DOBCEL schools.

The occasion is always special, heartfelt, and often humorous, as Principals speak on behalf of their departing colleagues.

Our Executive Director Tom Sexton also presented a gift to the Principals in recognition of their contributions to the DOBCEL community.

A massive thank you and best wishes to Nerrida Holland (St Mary’s Catholic Primary School, Warracknabeal), Jack Lenaghan (Sacred Heart Primary School, Colac), Suzie McManus (Sacred Heart Primary School, Casterton) and Vince Muscatello (St Paul’s Primary School, Mildura) who were in attendance at this significant event.

Regrettably, not all our departing and retiring Principals were able to attend and Carmel Barker (Marian College), Tim Bourke (St Patrick’s, Camperdown), Leigh Bradshaw (Our Lady Help of Christians, Wendouree), and Marg Blythman (St Joseph’s College, Mildura) were recognised in absentia.
