New learning facilities coming for St Mary’s, Ararat
The St Mary’s Catholic primary school community in Ararat is set to benefit from a $3,000,000 upgrade and building works are now underway!
St Mary’s has been working with Law Architects to design purpose-built learning areas that enhance student agency, point-of-need instruction, and collaboration.
The works will include new general learning areas, a covered outdoor learning area, administration space, and staff amenities.
Principal, Roxanne Leed, said ‘the enhancements will deliver benefits across the school community and offer increased learning opportunities for students.
‘We want to provide first-class learning facilities for our students into the future, and we are thrilled to get this project underway,’
‘We look forward to opening our new building at the beginning of 2025,’ she said.
The works will be delivered with combined support of a Victorian Government Capital grant and Catholic education contributions.
