Diocesan Religious Education Resource Centre
History
Our beginnings… Bishop O’Collins established the Religious Education Centre in 1971 at the suggestion of Bishop Mulkearns who was then Co-adjutor Bishop of Ballarat. The Centre was established to focus on the faith formation of the whole Diocese – not just the children in Catholic schools – thus enabling the people of the Diocese to make a positive contribution to religious education and Christian formation of families, parishes and schools.
Our Resource Centre is open to the general public and includes media such as books, dvd’s/cd’s, periodicals & music. Our resources cover areas such as Scripture, Prayer & Spirituality, Psychology, Social Justice, Church Teachings, Liturgy, Religious Education, Ministry & Theology.
